Block Party Trailer
BLOCK PARTY TRAILER POLICY & GUIDELINES
Availability – The Block Party Trailer is available for use by churches and missions of the DMBA for the purpose of evangelism.
Scheduling
The Block Party Trailer will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests will not be taken over one year in advance. A person representing the requesting church must be in attendance during a brief overview of proper use of the trailer. Contact: DMBA Office, 270-684-2377, to confirm your usage. Requests must be reserved at least two weeks in advance! You must fill out an application and turn in the $100.00 fee to schedule the trailer! (Reservations are contingent with completed reservation forms being turned in.)
User Fee – There is a user’s fee of $100 for use of the trailer.
A Certificate of Liability Insurance must be sent to the Office of Daviess McLean Baptist Association before use of the trailer. Have your insurance provider name the DMBA as an “additional insured” entity.
Responsibility
1. The user of the Block Party Trailer assumes FULL responsibility for the trailer and it’s contents from pick-up to return. (Each user is responsible for supplying popcorn, sugar for cotton candy & supplies used to make them.)
2. Make sure all contents are clean, dry and ready for the next church to use. Under NO circumstances shall the bounce house be stored back in the trailer wet or damp. It must be dry before being folded for moving, to prevent damage.
3. If any contents of the Block Party Trailer are found to be missing or damaged, the cost to replace or maintain (including cleaning) will be charged to the church using the trailer.
4. Trailer Equipment Check – List must also be completed and turned in upon finishing your event.
5. Any accidents or injuries are to be reported with the form supplied upon finishing your event.
6. ALL forms MUST be filled out and turned into the DMBA upon completion of event. We are inspected regularly by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, Division of Regulation Inspection. FAILURE TO COMPLETE FORMS MAY RESULT IN A FINE FROM THE STATE, THIS WILL BE PASSED ALONG TO THE CHURCH RESPONSIBLE.
Transportation
A regular sized pick-up with a receiving unit to equip a 2-inch trailer ball is required to transport the trailer. Brake and turn signal lights are required and must be hooked up and used. The trailer is to be picked up and returned to the DMBA office. (The ball and hitch are inside of the trailer.)
